Lenawee County Family Researchers Meeting Oct. 3, 2023

The October meeting and educational program of the Lenawee County Family Researchers will be held in partnership with the Lenawee Historical Society. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, in the Frazier Auditorium on the second floor of the Lenawee Historical Museum located in the historic Carnegie Library Building at 110 E. Church Street in Adrian. The doors will open at 5:30 for socializing and networking with the program scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm. The program will be followed by refreshments and a short business meeting.

The speaker is Judy Nimer Muhn who will be speaking about “Making Sense of the Census.” Judy has been researching her family tree since she was 12, specializing in French-Canadian, Acadian, Native American, Scottish and Michigan, Ontario, and Quebec research. She has lectured at National Genealogical Society conferences, RootsTech and RootsTech Connect, Federation of Genealogical Societies, as well as conferences in Europe and around the United States.

Lenawee County Family Researchers is the genealogical society serving Lenawee County. The society meets monthly with a genealogical education program following a short business meeting. Light refreshments will be served, and visitors are always welcome.

Programs are open to the public and are free, although donations are accepted.
