The Lenawee County Historical Society is hosting a genealogy workshop on Saturday, February 20th from 1:00-4:00 P.M. The focus of the workshop is on genealogical and local history research resources available in the archives and at local libraries. The event will be held at the Lenawee County Historical Museum, 110 E. Church St, Adrian.
Ray Lennard, Lenawee County Historical Society Board Member and Thompson House Museum curator will give an overview of the resources available at the Lenawee County Historical Museum at 1:00 P.M.
Dr. Charles Gehrke will discuss the resources available in the Tecumseh District Library’s Clara Waldron Historical Room, beginning at 2:00 P.M.
Phyllis Rickard of North Adams Library will be presenting tips and tricks for researching family history at 3:00 P.M.
There is no cost to attend the workshop, registration is not required, and the public is welcome to attend.
