The April meeting of the Lenawee County Family Researchers will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2 in the social hall of the Sand Creek Community Church located at 6190 Sand Creek Hwy in Sand Creek.
This month’s speakers are Bob Taylor and Julie Olin. A few years ago, Bob and Julie collaborated on the publication of Taylor Made, a book on Bob’s family history. They will be speaking on the process of writing and publishing a family history book.
One of the big issues facing family historians is how to preserve their work when they die. Come and learn the ins and outs of gathering, assembling, typesetting, and publishing your family history so it can be preserved for your descendants.
Lenawee County Family Researchers is the genealogical society serving Lenawee County. The society meets monthly with a genealogical education program following a short business meeting. The program is free, and visitors are always welcome.
The doors open at 5:30 for a time of socializing and networking, the program begins at 6:00, followed by refreshments and a short business meeting.
